The meetings undertaken during the mission will underscore Chile’s progress towards gender equality and women’s empowerment while providing an opportunity to share recommendations on how UN Women’s work can be strengthened in the region. Critical areas of work for UN Women will be covered during the mission, from boosting women’s role in the economy to putting women and girls at the core of the field of the future: STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
