The Regional Fund for Women's and Feminist Organizations and Movements (Fondo Regional) is issuing the second call for grant applications for women's and feminist civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Regional Fund arises within the framework of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, a subsidiary body of ECLAC, which since 2020 has been organized in coordination with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women).
The objective of the Regional Fund is to support the strengthening of Women’s and Feminist Organizations and Movements and its role in promoting gender equality and women's human rights in the region.
The Regional Fund is an innovative multi-actor financing initiative to support Women’s and Feminist Organizations and Movements, which promotes the priority areas agreed upon in the Regional Gender Agenda within the framework of the meetings of the ECLAC Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean.
