We dedicate the month of March to highlighting the work of women in Latin America and the Caribbean who work for human rights and gender equality from a perspective of sustainability, resilience, and peace.
This year, under the theme of 8M “For and by all women and girls: Rights, equality and empowerment,” we reaffirm our commitment to building a more equitable future where all women and girls can fully exercise their rights without exclusion or discrimination. Our common goal is to advance sustainable development, strengthen resilience, and promote gender equality, leaving no one behind.
In this special edition of our editorial series, Women in Power, we present exclusive interviews with activists from Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, and Chile, who, from their territories, lead fundamental struggles for justice, equality, and the well-being of the place where they belong.
